Other Notes
Evil as he may sound, Snaggletooth is not about killing. He simply enjoys using his many powers to "mess with" people. For him, the "joy" comes from torturing his victims, physically but mostly psychologically and emotionally. It's not as if he "feeds off" their fear, but that he enjoys the rush his powers give him over people. Between knowing what people will do and hypnotizing them to believe whatever he wishes-- that they are choking, for instance-- he can really "mess with" people. Add to that his ability to move objects (and people) with his mind-- and really big things, too, like the roof of a building-- and he becomes quite a formidable figure.
There is good news, however. Once he has "messed with" someone, he tends to eventually get bored and move on. Yes, the victim is traumatized, but is still alive after the ordeal. The best defense against Snaggletooth seems to be the ability to know that the torture will end at some point.
There may be bad news, however. So far, Snaggletooth seems to be content to focus on weak prey and single victims. But like any addict, he wants to up the ante, and hopes his victim will bring a friend next time, so he can try to "mess with" both at once.
