Other Notes
What else are you going to call the person who plays a musical rubberband? The Rubberband Man is unassuming in the extreme. This "short, fat man" comes onstage and wraps a huge rubberband around himself like a triangle-- what's your reaction? "I laughed so hard."
But then he starts to twang the rubberband, and the sound is mesmerizing. He keeps rhythm with one side and plays the melody on the other, shifting his body  to change the pitch.  You eventually lose your sanity and willingly follow him.
While other cult leaders send up huge red flags, who would even think to worry about some dumpy guy with who plays a rubberband? So his other weapon is your lack of fear. "Go ahead, underestimate me," Rubberband Man thinks. "All you have to lose is your mind."
