Other Notes
Miss Sakamoto is a high school teacher focusing on what we now call STEM subjects. She also preys, sexually, on her students.
She chooses one and flunks him. Shocked, he comes to her after class, begging for a retest. She convinces him to come to her house after school for "private tutoring" so he can pass her class.
Once he is there, however, she uses a variety of techniques to induce hysterical blindness (i.e., she blinds him with science). He can only see her, and think she is "beautiful," but this is due to some "chemicals" which he can only smell and "machinery," which he can only hear.
Another technique of hers involves hypnosis. Her eyes are "tender" and "deep," and she dances seductively. Before long, she is "dancing close to" and "making love to" (note the passive grammar on their part) her students.
Recalling the situation later, they can recall nothing specific that could incriminate her, due to their inability to "see" their surroundings. She also destroys the physical evidence: "She's tidied up and I can't find anything/ All my... careful notes."

All that's left is the accusation of a failing student, saying his teacher did unspeakable things to him-- but he is completely hazy on the details, and there is no other evidence. Most others doubt the accusations, if there are any, and many victims come to doubt their own minds (maybe it was just a dream or fantasy?).
Before enough accusations collect, she tells the administration, "I can't live like this," and quits, moving on to another one of the thousands of high schools in the country-- with the former school's high recommendations (so that she doesn't sue them for libel).
