Other Notes
OK, so she doesn't love him anymore. Most would mourn and move on.
Not our hero here. He keeps trying to prove his love to his ex, but she just isn't interested any longer, and his increasingly dangerous attempts to prove his love are making him less and less attractive. Once she realizes he is basically invulnerable, his various stunts-- which would be suicide for others-- are meaningless.
The Grenade Catcher's skin, bones, and other organs cannot be broken to begin with. But his heart, ironically, now broken, will not mend.
One of his friends needs to take him aside and talk some sense into him, before he starts putting even more people in danger with his increasingly insane antics (throwing himself in front of a train is going to give the poor engineer PTSD if nothing else).
He needs something else (not another woman) to focus on. Maybe superheroing, or stunt work.
