His heat is so intense, it allows him to excite his own molecules and rearrange them into machines, even bombs. With external objects (even the entire world!), he can only turn them "inside out," perhaps by altering the charge on protons and electrons.
While perhaps enjoyable in small doses, Mr. Fahrenheit's thrill-seeking behavior would soon grow either wearisome or dangerous. By constantly upping the ante of excitement, he either challenges others to come along with-- which slows him down-- or he simply leaves them behind.
